Mirai Mizue
He is a representative figure of the new generation of abstract animation in Japan. His films have been shown in more than 100 festivals in about 20 countries.
TOCHKA
TOCHKA is a creative unit that acts by Nagata Takeshi and Monno Kazue. They invented new method of making animation called PiKA PiKA. It enables everyone to make animation with drawings by penlights in the air.
Atsushi Wada
Wada started his career as a self-educated animator in 2002. He likes to make comfortable movements and always think about the Japanese traditional concept called "Ma", the tension produced between movements.
Kei Oyama
His method of making animation is very unique: using a collage of photographs shot in close-up.HAND SOAP (2008) was awarded the Prize of the International Short FIlm Festival in Oberhausen.
