CALF is an independent DVD label for works by Japanese filmmakers. The founders are three animators Kei Oyama, Atsushi Wada, Mirai Mizue and one critic Nobuaki Doi. Our designer for DVDs and flyers is Misa Amako. The animator Aico Kitamura has done the design of our site. Our first and second DVDs are the collections of Mirai Mizue and Tochka. They will be out in August this year perhaps during Hiroshima International Animation Festival. The third one is Atsushi Wada Works that will be available in October during Ottawa International Animation Festival. You can buy all of the three DVDs from everywhere in the world from the “shop” section in our website (now under construction).
